About Aravindam India Gurukul

Aravindam India Gurukul is a learning and development center promoting creative thinking through fun development activities after school hours. Gurukul creates space for self-expression to develop kids’ confidence and abilities. It is a non-profit social venture of Aravindam India started in April 2009 to provide children with a variety of educational activities that add value to their creative and versatile development.

Who is it for.....?

The children and youth (specially girls from 6 to 16 years of age) are from our neighborhood in villages Carterpuri, Choma, Sarai Alawardi in Gurugram and Village Pachgaon in Manesar. Living in poor conditions and deprived of opportunities, the Gurukul Kalpataru Aravindam is not just one great escape to a salubrious environment, but also a gateway to a prosperous future, from saleable and employable skills, personality and a progressive outlook.

Around 250 children and youth attend the three Aravindam India Gurukul centers everyday.

How did it Start....?

By creating an environment in which children get engaged, participate, experiment, and express freely. Children are exposed to team work, problem solving, exchange of ideas, culture and environment awareness, decision making and much more.
